Well, I had hoped to show you a picture of my Kooo…

Well, I had hoped to show you a picture of my Koool-Aid dyed yarn today, but my camera is not uploading pictures for some reason. I dyed a full skein of Fisherman’s Wool as well as a ball of another natural wool I had. I’m pretty pleased with the results. I hope to show pics tomorrow. I also signed up for the Kool Aid Along– see the button in my sidebar. You’ll also notice that I took out the tagboard. I don’t know why I kept it so long when I have the other commenting feature. So that got rid of the nasty pop-up as well.

Anyways, I did manage to knit a few rows last night on the UCan2 tank. It’s slow going though; I have to hold my left index finger up because when I hit it on something or try to grip with it, it really hurts.

I finished Girl with a Pearl Earring by Tracey Chevalier. It was wonderful– I highly recommend it. I also read The Virgin Blue (also by her) yesterday, it was very good as well. I just started The Lady and the Unicorn today. I don’t really like that it has a male main character, but it seems to be getting a bit better. Anyone care to recommend a similar author to her? I really like her books and have just discovered them– to bad she’s only written four so far. I just placed Falling Angels on reserve at the library (along with a slew of knitting books). The librarians always double check with me whenever I check anything out to make sure I don’t have something on hold. Most of the time I do! (and I’m there almost every other day).

Here’s a site for you sock fiends: Watch Opal being made here.
