Is it time yet?

Full moon

It’s a full moon tonight, and a lot of women go into labor during a full moon. The theory is that the moon’s gravitational pull affects the amniotic fluid in much the same way as it affects the water in the sea, rivers and even the water that’s otherwise found in our bodies.

We’ll see what happens… there’s another full moon on April 20th, which would put me almost two weeks overdue (my midwife’s office will only “let” me go two weeks overdue and that will be pushing it I think).

pray for a storm. there was storm immediately preceding the birth of children #1 & #3. #1 was a snow storm (her birthday isnov 1, lol) and child #3 was a thunderstorm (i had to walk 2 blocks in the pouring rain to get to a phone so someone could take me to the hospital!), and his birthday is august 25. wheeeeeee!

child #2? i swear, i think she was because of the first shuttle explosion. she was born less than 24 hours after it happened (yes, that was 22 years ago)

child #4? just to be a pain, lol. he was the only child that was not born late (he was 3 days early) and threw off the last week of the quarter at school for me!
