Menu July 3-9, 2011

Sunday: brats with peppers and onions
Monday: grilled steak, baked potatoes, peas
Tuesday: orrechiette with garlic scape pesto and goat cheese
Blend 6 garlic scapes in the food processor with olive oil, mix into goat cheese and mix into pasta
Wednesday: salisbury steak (I add a tiny bit of flour to thicken the sauce), mashed potatoes
Thursday: chicken and noodles (from freezer)
Friday: homemade pizza with homemade sauce, nitrite-free pepperoni
Saturday: either barbecue chicken or gnocchi

canning cherries in a vanilla simple syrup
whole wheat sandwich bread
homemade ricotta for pizza or garlic bread
